Freedom Racing

My friend got laid off today. It seems that the hard times are coming on horseback, yes they are. He’s a cook, so he got the boot for the ‘winter season’, whatever that means. People still eat when it’s snowing. My brother works as a cook as well, and I hope he keeps his job, especially since he’s been showing up late a lot. I suppose the old saw is true- things are rough all over.
