Using halogen light bulbs saves not only energy but money. It saves on electricity leading to lower energy bills, and they last a long time saving money on purchases. Original light bulbs last for a few months and are not energy efficient. I use halogen light bulbs in my home and have had to replace one in almost two years. The one I had to replace was broken when my cat knocked over a lamp.
