Freedom Racing

Eleven-year-old Katie Symalla was devastated to find her pony, Savannah, dead in her pen. Someone had gotten into the pen and killed the pony, also cutting off part of its face. Katie is still grieving, but she has a reason to smile, too. An 8-month-old quarter-horse has been given to Katie by Sue Wenzel, a woman from the same area of Minnesota as Katie. Eleven people called to offer Katie a new horse. It’s nice to know there are some really good people out there.
