Sturdy Television Stands
November 20th, 2010 under Blabber, Just Life, Television. [ Comments: none ]

I really need some kind of different tv stands because the one that I have just is pretty flimsy. I would like something more solid to put my television on because I love it so much that I would be crushed if something actually happened to it. I would like something to hold it up and make it harder for someone to steal if they got in my house.

Supress My Appetite Please!
November 20th, 2010 under Just Life, Television. [ Comments: none ]

One of my biggest problems with my weight is the fact that I feel like I am always hungry. This is why I am looking for a good pill to help with appetite suppression because if I quit feeling hungry all the time I might not eat as much as I do. Then there is the fact that I over eat whenever I have unlimited food. I need help!

NASCAR

I just started watching NASCAR last Sunday because I have been looking for something to get into and I had a lot of fun watching the race.  I am not sure who my favorite driver is yet though, I know everyone has their number one driver that they like, but I’m not sure!  I was cheering on Legano last week, but he ended up doing pretty bad.  Who is your favorite driver?

Bell TV

I did not even know that Bell had a cable company or satellite but you can get bell tv and it is pretty inexpensive for what you would get. I have always trusted Bell as a company and I think that their service would actually be pretty good. I am probably going to have to research this a little more though because with my TV I also need internet.

Home Theater Setup
April 4th, 2008 under Technology, Television. [ Comments: none ]

I saw the perfect home theater setup the other day. The setup included like a 57 inch plasma television with a huge surround sound system and beautiful home theater chairs to go with it. I would really like to turn my living room into a home theater but it is too small. I keep telling my other half that we need to move just so we can have a nice home theater.

Stephen Colbert may not be actually a viable candidate for president, but the man is definitely popular. His Facebook group, “1,000,000 Strong for Stephen T. Colbert” has passed 1,000,000 members in just five days. To put this in perspective, Barack Obama’s group has been up for nine months, and has just over 380,000 members. In. nine. months.

Lynne Cheney appears on The Daily Show
October 12th, 2007 under America, Politics, Television. [ Comments: none ]

I think the fact that Lynne Cheney would appear on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart to promote her book shows that she is one classy lady. After all, making fun her husband is what constitutes Jon Stewart’s bread and butter. She even made a joke about her husband being a regular guy – who likes old movies and every now and again bites the head off a live chicken. The book is called Blue Skies, No Fences, and it was while she was doing research for this book that she discovered that her husband, Vice President Cheney, and Barack Obama are distant cousins. That’s America, folks.

Are you watching The War?

Are you watching Ken Burns’ The War on PBS this week? The story of World War II shows the best of the United States, but the fact that racism and segregation and ignorance were in full force also shows some of the worst of our country’s history. Burns has crafted an unflinching look at the United States’ role in World War II, and the very human faces of the people who lived through it. Watch it. We have a lot to learn from our nation’s history.
