Our Family’s iPods

My family all got ipods for Christmas this year with songs which were from our childhood. It was a really thoughtful gift because our parents took the time to find meaningful songs to put on each kid’s iPods and then wrapped them up really nice and we all got our favorite color as well. I love gifts where I know someone put a lot of thought and effort into them, those types of gifts are my favorite.
What ever happened to Thanksgiving?

I know I’m not the only to notice how the whole holiday season is speeding up, and that the retailers seem to think the calendar goes something like this: Valentine’s Day, Easter, School Supplies, Halloween, Christmas – with nothing in between. It’s not just the retailers, though. There is a radio station in Kansas City that is starting to play all Christmas music, all the time. Now. Today – November 1st. I guess the idea is “screw Thanksgiving.”
