Shopping Early To Be A Great Gifter
March 6th, 2011 under Blabber, Family, Holidays, Just Life. [ Comments: none ]

I have 2 weddings coming up this summer that are important to me. I know that I want to get them both something awesome. I started shopping already to find the perfect unique wedding gifts for each of them. I have always considered myself to be a great gift giver and I think it may be partially because I plan so much ahead of time. I’m looking at www.PersonalCreations.com right now at the different personalized gifts. I’m excited already!

Scanning To Save Time
January 20th, 2011 under Blabber, Education, Holidays. [ Comments: none ]

I was wondering if there is a program somewhere out there that uses a barcode scanner to find and list things on auction sites. I would like to sell a bunch of DVD movies that I have here but listing them all is kind of a pain. How cool would it be to just be able to scan it and put in a price and move onto the next one?

Black Friday Shopping Online
December 2nd, 2010 under Blabber, Holidays, Just Life. [ Comments: none ]

I decided that it would be a great idea to go out shopping on Black Friday this year and I was not a happy camper. Everything that I went out for was gone and the stores were just overcrowded with very rude people. I was so glad to come home and check out the deals online and found that Black Friday also happens online so I know what I will be doing next year!

Branson Missouri Vacation
November 8th, 2010 under Freedom, Holidays. [ Comments: none ]

There are a lot of places that I would like to visit across the United States. One of the places that has really caught my eye is Branson Missouri. I have looked at Branson Missouri vacation packages because I started seeing commercials for Branson that looked like a lot of fun. Branson looks like a great place to vacation in the summer so I think if I did purchase a package it would be next summer, which would give me time to save.

Beaded Gifts
November 8th, 2010 under Freedom, Holidays, Just Life. [ Comments: none ]

When I was making jewelry I really liked working with different kinds of beads. I have a few different beading tools and I am thinking about putting them to use again. I was thinking about making all of the women in my family jewelry for Christmas this year because I have limited funds to get anyone anything. I have supplies and tools so I could make them all something special for a cost that would not be high.

Upcoming Halloween
September 19th, 2010 under Blabber, Holidays. [ Comments: none ]

I have another Halloween party to go to this year, and I really wasn’t expecting to so I am very happy! I just have to hurry to find out what our costumes are going to be. I like to do a theme kind of with my husband every year, and this year I was thinking about doing zombies. I know they are overdone right now, but we liked them before anyone else!!!

Cyber Monday Beats Black Friday!
September 7th, 2010 under America, Family, Holidays, Just Life. [ Comments: none ]

I just love that the Internet started having Cyber Monday deals because I am not a fan of getting out into crazy crowds on black Friday. I have not even seen that great of deals on the Friday the past couple of years to make me want to get out into that horrendous crowd of angry people! I just love being able to stay home with a nice cup of hot chocolate and the ability to click to order.

Shop and Confess
November 2nd, 2008 under Holidays, Just Life. [ Comments: none ]

It is the time of year again to start holiday shopping. I love shopping online at this time of year because I find the best deals. This year I have been looking more at ebillme.com to do some shopping because it would be easy to pay for everything. I hate racking up my credit cards every year and Ebillme.com is an online banking service that lets you pay cash. This site is running a really neat contest right now that is called Shop and Confess. You have a chance to win over $33,000 in prizes! Check out the site at ShopAndConfess.com and when you enter tell them that Freedom Racing sent you in the referrals. Pay easily with cash, enter a contest, and have fun shopping at www.Ebillme.com!

Anyone brave enough to try these?
January 6th, 2008 under Food, Holidays. [ Comments: none ]

Jones Soda is coming out with their famous Seasonal Pack. Last year’s pack was themed to go with Thanksgiving. I don’t know about you, but I could not bring myself to try a Turkey and Gravy or Green Pea-flavored soda. This year, there is a Christmas pack and a Hannukah pack. The Christmas pack includes Christmas Tree (ever tasted one of those?), Egg Nog, Sugar Plum, and (ugh) Christmas Ham. The Hannukah pack will include Latkes, Chocolate Coins, Jelly Doughnut, and Applesauce.

That’s some sugar craving
January 5th, 2008 under Criminals, Food, Holidays, That's Outrageous!. [ Comments: none ]

Now, I’ve had me some serious chocolate cravings before. And I have dipped into my kids’ Halloween candy – with their permission. But Kendra Butts and Amber Martin of Wasilla, Alaska – I guess maybe they didn’t have kids to share with. So what did they do? They held some trick-or-treating kids at gun point – fired a shot into the air – and demanded they hand over their candy or else be killed.
