It is the time of year again to start holiday shopping. I love shopping online at this time of year because I find the best deals. This year I have been looking more at ebillme.com to do some shopping because it would be easy to pay for everything. I hate racking up my credit cards every year and Ebillme.com is an online banking service that lets you pay cash. This site is running a really neat contest right now that is called Shop and Confess. You have a chance to win over $33,000 in prizes! Check out the site at ShopAndConfess.com and when you enter tell them that Freedom Racing sent you in the referrals. Pay easily with cash, enter a contest, and have fun shopping at www.Ebillme.com!

Jones Soda is coming out with their famous Seasonal Pack. Last year’s pack was themed to go with Thanksgiving. I don’t know about you, but I could not bring myself to try a Turkey and Gravy or Green Pea-flavored soda. This year, there is a Christmas pack and a Hannukah pack. The Christmas pack includes Christmas Tree (ever tasted one of those?), Egg Nog, Sugar Plum, and (ugh) Christmas Ham. The Hannukah pack will include Latkes, Chocolate Coins, Jelly Doughnut, and Applesauce.

That’s some sugar craving

Now, I’ve had me some serious chocolate cravings before. And I have dipped into my kids’ Halloween candy - with their permission. But Kendra Butts and Amber Martin of Wasilla, Alaska - I guess maybe they didn’t have kids to share with. So what did they do? They held some trick-or-treating kids at gun point - fired a shot into the air - and demanded they hand over their candy or else be killed.

What ever happened to Thanksgiving?

I know I’m not the only to notice how the whole holiday season is speeding up, and that the retailers seem to think the calendar goes something like this: Valentine’s Day, Easter, School Supplies, Halloween, Christmas - with nothing in between. It’s not just the retailers, though. There is a radio station in Kansas City that is starting to play all Christmas music, all the time. Now. Today - November 1st. I guess the idea is “screw Thanksgiving.”
