What Is An AED? |

I was at the gym the other day and I saw a sign that said that there was an AED available in case of emergency so I wanted to know what the heck an AED was and why we would need one in an emergency. I found out that AED stands for Automated External Defibrillator which is for when a person’s heart stops. I am amazed that places actually have these devices to help people in a time of need!
