Fast Weight Loss Diets
April 9th, 2010 under Blabber, Education. [ Comments: none ]

I did a search for diets for quick weight loss because I want to lose weight, and fast. I do not want to starve myself because I know I will just gain it back faster than I lost it, so I want to find a good diet that will help me to lose the weight that I want to quickly without starving. I love to eat fresh fruit and vegetables, so I do not mind the change of eating habits.

Life Saving Rapid Detox
February 11th, 2010 under America, Education, Family, Health. [ Comments: none ]

Back when I was twenty I went through a huge drug phase. You could not name one drug that I had not tried or was using at the time. Everything seemed crazy and I could not even function, got fired from jobs constantly and instead of paying my bills I was paying the dopeman. Until one fateful day when I watched my friend inject herself with heroin and overdose. She died that night in the hospital and I was devastated! It was that point I tried a rapid detox program. I went into the hospital and they put me under an anesthetic, then they injected me with medications while I was out of it and apparently there is pain but I do not remember it. I can tell you that I am extremely thankful for that program! She did not die in vain, she ultimately saved my life.

Selling Back Books
January 24th, 2010 under Blabber, Blogroll, Education. [ Comments: none ]

My college textbooks are so incredibly expensive. I usually end up buying my books for way too much brand new because I do not think about getting the used ones in time to get them before a class starts. The good thing is I can sell books for a lot less than I paid for them, but hey, at least it is something instead of never getting anything back from them.

GMATs
October 18th, 2009 under Blabber, Books, Education. [ Comments: none ]

If you need to take the GMATs then you may want to get yourself prepared by visiting www.Knewton.com because they have a very nice GMAT prep program. GMAT stands for graduate management admission test and this test is taken to get into a lot of business schools. I couldn’t imagine having to take another test while trying to get into school!

My Tutoring Service
August 24th, 2009 under Blabber, Education. [ Comments: none ]

I was thinking about getting a couple of classroom chairs for my tutoring service that I have been doing here at my house. I have a couple of kids that I have been tutoring for a few extra dollars and I was thinking that it would be kind of neat if I could get them chairs and little desks to work on while they are here.

My Graduation
June 15th, 2009 under Blabber, Education. [ Comments: none ]

I walked in my graduation ceremony last week as I will have my Associate’s degree in business in just a couple of weeks. I had a party the next day for family and friends and it went very well. I was so happy because everyone just kept telling me how proud they are of me, and I just imagine that they will be even more proud once I get my Bachelor’s degree in another two years!

Tumbling Rocks
February 22nd, 2009 under Blabber, Education. [ Comments: none ]

I had a rock tumbler when I was younger that my parents gave me for Christmas. I actually got a few rocks polished and they turned out really nice. I had no idea they could take so long to be polished though, and when they came out I was very happy with the final product. I would like to play with one now that I am older.

Job Hunting
February 8th, 2009 under Education, Funnies, Racing. [ Comments: none ]

I really do not think that when I get out of school that I want to take any jobs in retail. I have done retail before, and it is not bad, but I want to explore different avenues. I do not want to get stuck in the same kind of job like some people are, I am too adventurous for that!

This is taking “zero tolerance” just a little too far.
January 12th, 2008 under Education, Freedom, Guns. [ Comments: none ]

A junior high student in Arizona was doodling in class and ended up suspended. Wanna know why? Because he doodled a picture of a gun. Yep, he was suspended for five days from Payne Junior High School in Maricopa County, Arizona – all because he was bored and drew a picture of a gun on his paper. This is just going way too far, if you ask me.

The metric system
January 7th, 2008 under America, Education. [ Comments: none ]

Did you hate learning the metric system as much as I did during school? I think I hated it because I knew that, living in the US, I would never use it. Turns out there are only three countries worldwide that don’t use the metric system. The US is one; the other two are Myanmar and Liberia. Good to know that we’re holding our own with these world powers.
