I was telling my friend who has a pool table in his dining room (and nothing else) that he should turn it into like a real billiard. I think it would be fun if he went out and got a bunch of different billiards supplies like the overhead lamps, and the fancy cue stick holders and things like that. He could make it into a hot spot for all of us to hang out, drink beer, and play pool at. He is one of the only people that I know that has that kind of room in the house to just have a pool table. I think it would be really neat if he put a bar in there as well, but he is kind of cheap so that would be pushing it for sure.
I made a bar in my garage a couple of years ago, but after I bought the Mustang I had to get rid of the bar because when people would come over there was no place to put the car, and if I kept it too close to the garage it got scratches from drunk people walking by, it was disastrous. This is the reason it would be better for him to have the hang out spot at his house, there is even a bathroom to the right of the dining room so people do not have to travel all over his house. I am going to talk to his wife this weekend and if I can get her to go shopping I know she will buy all kinds of billiard stuff to make that room look better.
